Hello everyone and welcome back. Today we’ll be talking about the Top 7 Mistakes new Minecraft players make, (and how to avoid them!)
- Building a Full Set of Wooden Tools: It’s better to quickly upgrade to stone/iron before you make a full set of tools, due to the fact that stone/iron are way more efficient than wood, only takes a little more time to obtain, and wooden tools have extremely low durability.
- Not Organizing Storage: Keep your chests organized with signs and group items to make sure you can find them quickly when needed, and make sure all your items are stacked up to the fullest extent, or else it will waste storage.
- Unorganized Mining System: You don’t want to get lost in your network of tunnels that you mined out, do you? Make sure you mine in straight lines, grid patterns, or branch systems.
- Forgetting to Light Up Surroundings: In your base, make sure to light up every little nook, cranny, and crack or mobs can spawn and attack you while you are least suspecting it.
- Overlooking the Shield: The shield can be a lifesaver, especially when dealing with creepers, TNT, and skeletons. It can block all major explosion and projectile related threats that could potentially kill you when you do not have the shield.
- Digging Straight Down/Up: You can accidentally meet lava and burn, water and drown, mobs and die, or other hazards while digging straight up/down. It’s better to dig in 2-block style, or etc.
- Not Sleeping When Needed: Maybe later in the world you’re adventuring. Adventuring to… who knows. And then, there are phantoms. Phantoms (in my opinion) are extremely annoying and can potentially be harmful if you do not kill them and/or sleep, plus the added threats of other mobs being around you, as phantoms only spawn at night. To avoid phantoms, you can sleep more often, and they will rarely spawn at night.
And that’s all for today, guys. I hope you learn more things and survive in the hostile world of Minecraft!
