Hello everyone, I’m talking from my perspective of moving away from Washington, USA.
Day 1 (MONDAY)
Things didn’t really go well on day 1. I was still in Washington at this time, and had to choose: What was my breakfast? Cereal or Croissant?
I definitely chose Cereal. I ate Croissant for 4 days in a row!
After lunch, we’re driving to the nearest international airport: Sea-Tac International Airport (Which is Seattle-Tacoma International Airport)
When we took off, it was 3:00 PM. We ate some dinner there, and when we landed in Florida, it was already 12:00 AM! (I got a runny nose on the plane, it wasn’t cool.)
We got to our house, set down our sleeping bags, and started sleeping. At that time, it was 2:00 in the morning. (Even without brushing our teeth or showering)
Day 2 (TUESDAY)
Day 2 begins, starting off with me getting too lazy to get off my bed. After like 30 minutes, I heard footsteps outside. That encouraged me to get off my sleeping bag and started Day 2.
When I woke up, I it was 11:00. I knew the cars were here!
I looked outside, but none of the cars were there. I also noticed a ton of workers in our house.
Here’s why the cars weren’t here at 11:00 when it was supposed to be here at 9:00: The driver entered our neighborhood. But then there’s a tree leaning onto the road. Someone came out to see what all the commotion was, and actually called the county to cut down the tree. It all ended with dad driving the cars.
(The ground was really dirty, so we had to wear sandals in the house. Lol.)
After eating lunch and dinner, we went to Home Depot to buy a vacuum cleaner, then we went back home when I saw mom cleaning one of the rooms using it. I wanted to help, so at the end I vacuumed:
- 2 Bedrooms
- Hallway
- Kitchen
- Living Room
- Pantry
I know, that’s a lot, so the bottom of my foot hurt so much that even if I lay down, it still hurts. I was absolutely exhausted.
Day 3 (WEDNESDAY)
Nothing really improved today, except that we got stuffed animals from the car we shipped. (It arrived on Day 2 in the car.)
At least our heads stopped hurting so much because we had to lay on wood. (I was laying on my pug, and it’s still squished right now. (Like 3 – 4 inches deeper than it were normally.
I got my golf stick that I got from the car yesterday, (A blue and black one) and started doing some ‘Stuff’.
When we finished eating lunch, then I’m here writing this post. But before that, dad told me to vacuum the last room, (There were still pieces of wood in there) so here I am, writing this post for you to see. (I kind of forgot the rest of the details today.)
Day 4 – 5 (THURSDAY – FRIDAY)
Unknown
Day 6 (SATURDAY)
I woke up after I heard walking outside of my bedroom, and didn’t eat breakfast except for Chinese Apples.
I played with some cubes and guess what?! We finally have a proper fridge! (Our wall got scraped a bit, maybe a dent)
The rest of this day is Unknown.
Day 7 (Sunday)
Unknown
Day 8 (Monday)
I woke up when ‘someone’ was making a racket outside of my room. I got out of my sleeping bag shortly after that. Then, I ate some nuts and half of a yogurt container.
Then, I was ‘patient’ until everyone woke up. Now I’m here writing this post.
(And a guy also came to fix our air conditioning.)
The rest of this day is Unknown.
Day 9 (Tuesday)
This is getting pretty annoying. It’s been so long and the truck that carried our stuff didn’t arrive yet.
By the way, you’re probably wondering: ‘How do I have internet to write this for you to see?’ Well, the answer is a jetpack. Wait, how is a jetpack going to get you to have internet? It’s actually a little gray oval thing that finds TV towers and amplifies the connection.
The rest of this day is Unknown. (Sorry for this, I just keep forgetting the events.)
Day 10 – 15 (Wednesday – Sunday)
Unknown
Day 16 (Monday)
It’s been over two weeks! And our stuff has finally arrived!
I woke up when dad went around waking everyone up and saying that our trucks will arrive in 30 minutes! It took another 10 minutes for the stuff to finally start coming in! So far, I have 3 boxes in my room.
