Blue axolotls are one of the rarest mobs in Minecraft. Since the 1.16 Update, it became over x10 rarer. Because now you can only breed normal axolotls to get it.

And today I’ll be showing you how to get them in a simple command!

First go near a body of water. Axolotls cannot survive long without water.

Then once you’re in the body of water, type /summon axolotl ~~~ minecraft:entity_born.

Now you’ve summoned a blue axolotl. (It’s a baby though) I’ll also be showing you how to get a large one. So, first get a water bucket from your inv. (Stands for Inventory.)

Now right click the axolotl, it will get in the bucket, and it will say: “Bucket of Baby Blue Axolotl” In your inv. But I still haven’t covered: How do you make it into an adult one?

So do the same command I showed you earlier. Which is /summon axolotl ~~~ minecraft:entity_born.

Finally, you’ve got another small one. Well now get an item from your inventory or use another command: /give @s tropical_fish_bucket, or just get it from creative inv.

The last step: Right click the axolotl a bunch of times using this bucket. It will feed it to it, and it will grow. Then use your bucket (Bucket of water) And right click it one more time. Done, now you have a “Bucket of Adult Blue Axolotl”.

All Commands:

1. /summon axolotl ~~~ minecraft:entity_born. This will summon a blue axolotl.
2. /give @s tropical_fish_bucket. This will give you the food of a axolotl. (Any kind.)
