Hello! Look at the title, yes. We are going to be talking about Windows shortcut keys. So, lets dig into it.
If you are in your Microsoft edge web browser, and when you are trying to open another window so you could make a side-by-side screen in Microsoft edge, do Ctrl + N. This is really handy if you want to watch a video while making something on the other side. Note: Don’t close your main edge first. Or your main edge will turn into the one that probably only has one tab.
Hmm… now you’ve opened another window. But what’s the point without knowing the shortcut to open a new tab on windows Microsoft Edge? Well, if you want to know, you’ve come to the right place! On your keyboard, type Ctrl + T. This is also really handy if you don’t want to get your hands on the mouse every single time you want to do something.
Now if you have been opening tabs using Ctrl + T, you need to close them! So, there is also a shortcut to close tabs. Do Ctrl + W then it will automatically close the tab you’re on. You use this to easily close tabs.
I know a ton of other shortcut keys, but it’s going to be too long to discuss here today. So, we’ll be talking about one more shortcut key. If you want to open an app, like Microsoft Edge or Microsoft Outlook, you’ll be willing to do it using keyboard too. It depends on which one your Microsoft edge is on.
Type Windows + 1 or start + 1 to enter the first app in the taskbar. If you do Windows + 2 or start + 2 then it will automatically open the second app. And so on.
If you know any other shortcut keys that you think I don’t know, put it in the comments below.
